Implementation Science Mentorship in Cervical Cancer Prevention

University of Illinois Chicago, United States

I study the implementation and strengthening of cervical cancer preventative health services in Senegal, West Africa. My work involves building clinical capacity for cervical cancer screening and studying the adaptation of demand-side and supply-side interventions to overcome barriers to cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination uptake. These interventions include peer-to-peer education interventions through women’s groups, patient navigation programs, and gender transformative approaches.

I would be delighted to work with researchers in various locations with an interest in adaptation of evidence-based interventions into new contexts.
