Seeking Mentoring Relationship / Mentee - Seeking Mentor
Mentoring relationshipI am a final-year medical student at Busitema University, Uganda, with a strong passion for research in infectious diseases, especially antimicrobial resistance (AMR). I have actively contributed to the field by co-authoring five published research articles, including leading a study on medical students’ knowledge and attitudes toward AMR, which was published in Plos One Additionally, I have been involved in AMR awareness initiatives through Zihi Institute and scientific writing. While I have taken proactive steps to build my research career, I am looking for a mentor who can guide me to further build my research skills, improve my understanding of global health, grant writing to obtain funding for projects, and identifying opportunities for conference attendance. I am eager to collaborate, learn, and contribute meaningfully to impactful research in infectious diseases and global health. If you or someone in your network is open to mentorship or collaboration in this field, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to connect and learn from your expertise.
