Starting in the Spring of 2024, I collaborated with Dr. SturtzSreetharan and Dr. Melissa Beresford to collect data on whether Koreans understand water as a fundamental human right for the Global Ethnohydrology Study. This project was an excellent opportunity for me to apply what I learned in my previous semester and it was important to me as I had personally experienced how poor water quality can affect my body. It was this research opportunity that sparked my interest in water/ food security. I am currently doing a 4+1 accelerated program so that I can pursue a Masters in Global Health.
