African Forum for Research and Education in Health - AFREhealth, Ghana
Supported by AFREhealth, the teaching skills programme will target mid-level faculty in health professions training institutions across Africa. The selected participants will be drawn from different health professions so as to enhance inter-professional education and promote future inter-professional collaboration. Potential participants will express interest to be part of the programme and they will forward their applications along with support letters from an institutional Head to a committee that will make the final selection. Non-university personnel who participate in teaching and assessment of students and have exhibited interest and have the commitment shall also be eligible to apply. These may include for example health professionals working in teaching hospitals. Participants will also be expected to design a feasible educational project at their home institution aimed at improving a certain aspect of teaching and learning in their school.
