Additional info

I am Dr. Abdishakur Ahmed Mohamed, a medical doctor and Deputy Director of Child Health and EPI at the Ministry of Health in Somaliland. I also serve as a lecturer at the University of Hargeisa and work actively in public health emergency response, immunization programs, and health systems strengthening.

I am seeking opportunities for:

Mentorship in immunization program strengthening, outbreak preparedness, and public health leadership.

Collaboration with universities, researchers, and NGOs on projects such as:

Improving childhood vaccination coverage (including HBV campaigns).

Developing health worker training modules (Immunization practices, outbreak response).

Strengthening emergency preparedness systems (PHEOCs and surveillance).

Research support for ongoing studies on vaccination coverage, Zero Dose Children.

I am especially interested in South–South and Ghana partnerships that build sustainable capacity in LMICs, and I am open to co-developing training, research, and health system initiatives.

If you are a mentor, institution, or collaborator interested in working on these areas, I would be glad to connect.
