I am a graduate nurse and holder of an MScPH. I am also having SCOPE certification in obesity care. I am the supervisor of a service in our organization called Know Your Numbers (KYN) where we access an individual’s vital health numbers ie blood pressure, blood sugar, waist circumference, and body mass index. For those with elevated BMIs, I order fasting lipid profile tests and sometimes oral glucose tests for better follow-up. I use these results to give counsel to these clients.

I desire to have this information in order to empower staff working in our KYN facilities on better assessment and better care delivery to these clients. I have the desire to span this service to other health facilities in my country.
