I am Josephine Nabaweesi, a registered nurse from Uganda. A skilled communicator able to maintain cultural sensitivity , establish rapport with members of diverse groups and promote cohesiveness. An effective leader, skilled in enlisting the support of all team members in aligning with project and organisational goals.
My goal is to acquire a challenging growth-oriented position, where existing knowledge is explored but also expand to new skill sets as a Registered Nurse.

Performed a research study on the knowledge, attitude and practice of pregnant women in Uganda towards the attendance of antenatal care. This was done with a goal to assess the knowledge, attitude and practices of these expectant mothers so as to identify a gap that still in results to the still high maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rate in Uganda.
This study was completed and yet to be published. Therefore, I am seeking mentorship in the dissemination process after which I hope to create an impact to the community in which the study was conducted from the solutions got by various stakeholders involved.
